At Croxley Dental Clinic, we are pleased to be able to provide NHS dental services. Dentistry is one of the few NHS services where you have to pay a contribution towards the cost of your dental care. Details of dental treatment charges are listed below (NHS Treatment Charges- From April 2024) :
This covers an examination, diagnosis including X-rays where necessary, oral health advice, a scale and polish if clinically needed, and preventative dental care.
This covers everything listed in Band 1, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or tooth extractions but not more complex items covered by Band 3.
This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2, plus laboratory work involving crowns, dentures, bridges and mouth guards.
Emergency dental assessment including any appointments made to assess a certain area of pain.
You are exempt from NHS dental charges if, when the treatment starts, you are:

You won't be exempt from paying if you receive:
You'll be asked to show written proof that you don't have to pay for all or part of your NHS treatment. You will also be asked to sign a form to confirm that you don't have to pay. If you aren't sure whether you're entitled to help, you must pay. You can claim a refund from the NHS via the HC5(D) refund claim form enclosing your original receipt should you be entitled to help. Please note the NHS issue dental penalty charges for false declaration of exemptions.
